At Pisces Pet Emporium our goal is to create a general interest in animals for young children and teach responsible care of a small pet.
Pisces offers an informative hands on class that will cover topics that include, habitat, nutrition, handling and mental enrichment. LIKE us on Facebook or see in store to find out which animal will be covered.
Classes will be for the following animals : Reptiles - Leopard Gecko, Crested Gecko, Corn Snake
Small animal - Gerbil, Hamster, Guinea pig
Class agendas
In theses classes children will learn basic understanding, care, and the responsibility of owning animals. Of course the class will end with handling of the animal that was the topic of class.
When the child completes the class they will receive a button that signifies their knowledge of that animal.
They shall also receive
- Pisces lanyard with Name tag(in which to display their pins)
- Care sheets (Adult and Child)
- Tour Package (coloring sheets, maze, match, word search)
- Coupons
- Pisces recyclable bag
Times, Dates and information
Classes will take place on the second Sunday and last Sunday of every month at 10:15AM-11:00AM.
Requirements:
- Parents must remain in the store at all times but do not need to attend workshop
- Parents must understand that their child will be removed if they are being disruptive to the class.
