Caring For Your New Beta
Bettas can thrive in very small environments but like most fish, are susceptible to disease if water conditions decline. To maintain an optimum water quality.
1 Change at least 25% of your Betas water weekly, even if the water is not cloudy. Replace with fresh water. Add a water conditioner such as Pisces Step 1 tap water conditioner, to the fresh water, according to the directions on the bottle.
2 Keep your Betta away from direct sunlight. while Bettas enjoy slightly warmer water temperatures, direct sunlight will result in grouth of unsightly algae.

3 Feed your Betta sparingly, only 3-4 pellets once per day.Do not overfeed. Bettas eat from the surface off the water and will not eat food that falls to the bottom. Any food that fall to the bottomwill only pollute the water and result in poor water quality.
