Origin: this fish originates in South America, and can be found in the Amazon River.
Diet: As a bottom feeder, they will really eat just about anything. sinking shrimp pellets or a bottom feeder table 2-3 times per week will make sure they are getting a sufficient diet.
Compatibility: A very easy going fish, does well with any community tank, sticking got the bottom cleaning up whatever food that isnt gobble up by their tank mates.
