Origin: Native to Australia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea
Diet: Rainbows are a carnivorous fish but because of their extremely small mouths they can sometimes be difficult to feed. using finely ground flakes, or micro pellets. Rainbows will also accept frozen baby brine and micrometer larval diets.
Compatibility: Threadfins are a peaceful fish, doing best in small schools of 6 or more. they will mix with any other community fish, but you may want to keep them out of the same tanks as fin nippers like Barbs and some Tetras.
