These hardy succulents are available in 3.25" nursery pots and typically range from 4" to 8" in height depending on the species. Aloe and Haworthia are excellent low-maintenance houseplants, making them ideal for beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts alike.
Both genera thrive in bright, indirect light and can tolerate several hours of direct morning or afternoon sun. Plant them in a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix and allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems, so it is best to water thoroughly and then allow the soil to dry before watering again.
Aloe species are known for their fleshy leaves and upright growth habits, while Haworthia species are typically more compact and often feature attractive patterns, stripes, or textured leaves. With proper care, these drought-tolerant succulents can provide years of easy enjoyment and are perfect for windowsills, desks, terrariums, and other bright indoor spaces.
