ReefDose is a unique dosing unit created for the purpose of supplementing reef aquariums on a daily basis. Its specially-designed dosing heads, equipped with precise single-drop accuracy and a sophisticated controller, offer a comprehensive range of capabilities. The controller's "Dynamic Dosing Queue" seamlessly combines the desired dosing plans for each head to create a coordinated daily dosing schedule for the entire unit, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The queue is automatically updated to account for any changes made to settings and reschedules doses that may have been missed due to unexpected disruptions like power outages.
Incorporating the ReefBeat App's programming, ReefDose provides various choices for automated and convenient dosing, including both a fully customizable schedule and a preset plan for individual doses. Along with the standard flow rate, users can also opt for "Whisper" mode for discreet operation or "Turbo" mode for faster dosing. As part of the Red Sea's ReefBeat smart ecosystem, the ReefDose seamlessly integrates with all other ReefBeat devices.
The single drop accuracy dosing heads feature a direct-drive planetary gear-motor and provide an accuracy of ± 0.05ml or an average deviation of 0.5% (over 10ml). There are 4 easy-set, smart dosing options for each head, which are automatically combined into one coordinated schedule for the entire device. The dosing heads also have an easy assembly click-on/off design that requires no tools or alignment. To prevent chemical interaction between supplements, there is an automatic delay between the heads. Each head can deliver a daily dose of 0.2ml up to 1000ml in increments of 0.1ml, and there is also the option for on-demand manual dosing. The connectors for flexible tubing are secured and have dimensions of OD 5mm - ID 3mm. There are 3 dosing flow rates: Whisper 15ml/min, Regular 30ml/min, and Turbo 45 ml/min. The motor has a life expectancy of 10 years – based on 250ml/day/head.
