For your convenience, we mix our marine saltwater on site! We balance our marine water to a 1.024 specific gravity, perfect for saltwater fish. We use reverse osmosis water, a method of water purification that uses a semi permeable membrane to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from the water before we add the salinity. Reverse osmosis is the process of forcing a solvent from a region of high solute concentration through a semipermeable membrane to a region of low solute concentration by applying a pressure in excess of the osmotic pressure. The water is ready to go strait from the bucket, into your tank!
