I really like the light. It’s very bright and seems to be very good quality. Perfect for my 18“ x 18“ x 18“ vivarium and poison dart frogs. There’s no timer, but it seems like most of these LED light bars do not have timers for some reason so I just bought my own timer.
I bought the Exo Terra TerraSky LED quite expectantly because of the reviews I had seen, but the reality is simpler than it seems. The lighting works well: the plants grow without problems and the terrarium looks well lit. In that sense, it does its job. However, for the price it has, I expected a lot more. It doesn't include a built-in timer, which is basic nowadays, and the sunrise, dusk or storm modes are barely useful. In addition, it does not have an intensity meter as mentioned in some reviews, which disappointed me. In short: it works and complies, but it's pretty basic for what it costs. I would recommend it only if you're looking for something simple, not if you expect advanced features or automation. The lamp is very good and deserves 5 stars. It's a pity that at its cost it can only be managed by a low quality remote control. If it were manageable by application like all lamps by now, it would really be the best. The light is great, you can really tell the difference between a quality a light and cheap, the really big thing that lets these lights down are the instructions, they're incoherent and therefore irrelevant, unless you're there to press the buttons the functions are .pointless, if you're putting it on a timer then the functions and colours are also pointless, wish I'd purchased lights that can be used with an app, which I'll be doing next time.
